A suggestion for adding to the interest and ambiance of a Dance and Movement Therapy session is to introduce colour. We are all aware, unless we are colour blind, of its presence in Nature and the Man Made World. There are associations with Gods, priestly vestments, people's characters and distinctions between professions and trades. Without light there is no life. By day the Sun gives us light and by night the Moon. There is no way (thank goodness) that we can influence this natural cycle. Most people can only see the colors of the Rainbow. Others can perceive some of the colors of the next spectrum.

Black is the color that shows authority. It is known to make people look thinner and never goes out of style. Black can also mean submissive and make one seem aloof. Black is a great color in clothing for those on the heavy side.

Color healing has been around a very long time, even as far back as ancient Egypt. Nature which is far older than ancient Egypt lichttherapie 10000 lux heals us with her wonderful colors. Especially the blue of the sky and the greens of the grass and trees.

Neuropathy can occur anywhere in the body, but is common in the lower extremities and in particular the feet. Often the feet are affected first and the symptoms progress up the body. The hands experiences with light therapy are also commonly affected. Clinically the classic sign of neuropathy is pain and or numbness in a "glove and stocking" pattern. Meaning the patient has troubles in their hands and feet.

Let's say you like blue, but you already have some new white furniture and it makes no sense to replace it. Or maybe you just want to avoid the hassle of selling it (and get way below its value) and buying new. Whatever your reasons, you can still get the "blue" mood your desire through light: controllable Light therapy for vitamin D deficiency.

Of course for more severe cases you can also use Light Boxes which are available at most drug stores. A Light Box is a device Get started that provides more natural and intense light for therapeutic uses. As with any treatment you should consult your doctor before starting. Although the use of Light Boxes for Phototherapy Treatment is a non-invasive choice there are still some risks involved such as headaches, fatigue, irritability and insomnia.

Speaking of progress...I think, though I am not entirely sure...but I think that the therapy is starting to help a bit. It might just be all in my mind, yet it seems as if there is less pain in my forearms...and in my fingers. So..this all may be a good thing. Meanwhile I have two more sessions this month...and another 10 next year...and if that doesn't work...I'll try my mother's suggestion...Hypnotherapy! Stay tuned folks...
